As a not-for-profit initiative, Argentia Beach Sports and Recreation is dedicated to making sports and outdoor fun accessible to every family at the lake, as well as in the surrounding areas. More than just organizing games, the focus is on creating real opportunities for connection. The goal is to foster a thriving community where neighbours become friends, and every gathering strengthens the bonds that make this region so special.

Summer programming includes a Sailing School, where eager sailors aged 6–16 can get their first introduction to the sport under the guidance of experienced and passionate coaches. The Swimming School incorporates the Lifesaving Society curriculum, offering levels from Preschool 1 through to Swimmer 6. As well, our Kidz Kamp day program brings participants together for games, crafts, and lakeside adventure. Beyond the fun had by campers, these programs also provide meaningful employment for young adults spending their summers at the lake, as well as for local residents in the surrounding region. Each program is designed to meet participants where they are, whether they are beginners or returning campers, so that everyone can join in on the fun!
